Building Bridges

This project of an iconic work of public art for 'Gateway to Yorkshire'

Stainless Steel

  • Artist: Sam Holland

  • Shortlisted to two and awaiting a final presentation.

  • This is the macquette. This sculpture will stand over 35 feet high.

A sculpture to commemorate the building of the magnificent Humber Bridge in the East Riding of Yorkshire and to celebrate the communities within the area. The figures at 8m would stand as beacons at the approach to the county.

Both figures are made of stainless steel and represent the human face of community and partnership in response to the magnificent Humber Bridge.
